Oh my sweet baby boy. I am sorry.
I am sorry I got irritated with your beautiful blonde locks always being in your eyes.
I am sorry I got frustrated with yogurt and avocado constantly being in your hair.
I am sorry I didn’t appreciate the way your hair curls behind your ear.
Most importantly though, I am sorry I wasn’t patient enough to wait to take you for your haircut.
You see, it has been a long time since your brother was little and I was just sure I used to cut his hair. I was sure I used to cut his hair with scissors and make it look good. What I forgot was that I only cut the very top of his hair, one time.
I am sorry that I made your neckline way too high and that Daddy had to try to fix it.
I am really sorry that he did almost as bad a job as I did and that you will now have to walk around looking like a ragamuffin until it grows out.
Lucky for you, it isn’t as bad when you are 15 months as it is when you are 15.
I am also sorry I will be blaming your sister for your haircut.
Love,
Mama

Love the last apology.
He’s cute no matter what!
So, I was going to try to cut T’s hair tonight. But…I’m rethinking that…
I’ve shanked a little boy’s haircut before. With the clippers. The worst part is having to look at it until it grows out.
hahaha!! Good thing the girls are tough-they can take the heat!!!! He STILL is a dolly babe, a cutie patutie and the most precious little ruger I have seen in a long time!!
I shouldn’t laugh… really I shouldn’t…
ahahaaaa – so funny. I have done this to my boys too many times…I am just a cheapskate! 5 sons, haircuts are expensive! Luckily my daughter just finished beauty school and taught me how to do it properly, so I have only been messing up their hair for like, 13 years…it’s all good. He’s adorable, no matter what his hair looks like!
