Know what I love? That my kids love to run. They love to run and when given the opportunity will participate in any race available.
After my triathlon, there was a 1 mile kids fun run. All 3 ran, in the rain, with smiles on their faces.
I am so proud of them and love how much they love to run. I love that I am learning it isn’t hard to get kids to love being active. Give them the choice, show them by example and they will follow. They know it makes them feel good and they will want to continue doing it.
It is moments like these when I actually feel like I might be doing an okay job with them. I am teaching them to love, respect and take care of their bodies. And they have fun doing it. This is what I love.
