We have noticed a startling change in our home recently. We have been too plugged in to electronics, and not nearly plugged in enough to each other.
Too many fights, too few kind words. Too much looking down and not enough looking around.
We are unplugging this week.
No electronics for anyone.
I’m pretty excited about this.

I anticipate a lot of playing outside, cooperative play, imaginative play, books read, park days, forts built, and addictions to iPods, TV’s, computer games lessened.
Of course I might be very wrong and be begging for the kids to just go watch tv…
but I doubt it
